The Chalet and the adjoining log cabin named ‘Eagle’s nest’ are sitting within a sheltered area situated on the very edge of a picturesque village at the foot of Rila Mountain and next to a fast flowing river. The village in Sept 07 was: ‘Bulgarian Village of the week’ (please look at the pictures provided) .
If there’s one thing that can improve a day of fabulous skiing on wonderful snow, it’s returning to a chalet that feels exclusive.
The Chalet ‘’Carmel’’ and ‘’Eagle’s Nest’’ ski Cabin are not actually in a ski resort it is between 3 resorts which means you can ski any one of them whichever day you please-taken and collected by the chalet’s seemingly always-on-call minibus and 4×4.
Chalet Carmel/ski lodge Eagle’s nest being away from the main ski centre are , one soon realises, a plus rather than minus. The temptation to head out for a bar or a disco is removed, or at least made more difficult proposition, and serious regeneration of body and soul can be addressed in the chalet-which is not without serious creature comforts.
This summer and winter holiday retreat is in a semi-rural position with far reaching and uninterrupted and stupendous views of mountain peaks of 2500m above the sea level.

The New log cabin ‘Eagles nest’ is very attractive retreat to complement the whole experience.
The property features a wealth of charm and character combined with numerous external features like a stream running through the whole grounds length, pond with fountain, water well, wine cellar with outstanding rustic tavern for your late party evenings, 4/6 person sauna from Finland, 4-6 person hot tub/jaccuzi handily located in the hot connection between the two buildings, ski fitness room/Gym(2 different ski training machines, trampoline, weights training which will get you sweat-soaked in record time)
Also present there is 12ft trampoline with safety net!(summer only)
PLEASE NOTE: All of the facilities are private. They are inside the ground of the chalet and are not shared by anybody else.
NEW FOR WINTER 08/09: capacity is already up to 16 people in the chalet and the adjoining log cabin .Your party will use all of the facilities present.
The property features a pond with fountain which becomes ice fountain in the winter and a water well coming from the massive stone wall surrounding the whole of the property and also barbeque area for 15-18 people with open fire place. Everything is in a rural location but at the same time very close to 3 ski area(Borovets, Maliovitsa and Govedarci.)
Inside the Ski Chalet the rooms are with exposed timbers and vaulted ceilings betraying its origins. There is a very important, covered south facing balcony to fully appreciate the surrounding views and catch the winter sun rays.
For your comfort, there is a fully fitted kitchen, also 4 wood burning log fire places, satellite TV, CD ,DVD with good selection of films(skiing and features), 2 TV sets, safety box. In the log cabin full kitchen, bathroom and a massive drop down windows to fully benefit from the views plus TV, DVD, CD.
